Take the R74 to Bergville and continue on to Winterton. +Turn onto the R600 towards the mountains, direction Champagne Castle (cross the railway), at Thokozisa & Gordon Hall, drive app.. 4 km on R600, then first road on your right - ( direction Bell Park dam, Cayley lodge, Sagarmatha & uShaka-signs) (D 53). After the small bridge continue for 3 km , entrance on your left side, park your car for the farmhouse left, for Ikhaya & Cycad to the right after the recepion - -( don't turn towards Cayley lodge after the small bridge but continue straight to Bell park), We are about 23 km from Winterton. * From Ladysmith, take the N11 and turn left on the R600 to Winterton.+ continue from above + * Via Durban, Pietermaritzburg: get off the N3 exit left 179, Estcourt North, Loskop. Follow direction Loskop ( cattle on the road !!!). At Thokozisa, Gordon Hall turn left on R600, after app.. 4 km drive, turn right D 53 ( direction Bell Park dam, Cayley lodge, Meadowsweat herbs-signs). After the small bridge continue for 3 km , entrance at the prayer flags on your left side, park your car at the right side. ( don't turn towards Cayley lodge after the small bridge but continue strait to Bell park) Shops , 2 ATM (ABSA & FNB) , Pharmacy, Petrol in Winterton village and Cedarwood (ATM Standard bank)shopping center in front Champagne Sports Resort. if you need something, stop here before turning towards the mountains. Tourist information at Thokozisa & Winterton village. ROAD WORKS ON R74. THERE COULD BE A 20 MIN UP TO 45 MINUTES DELAY BECAUSE OF ROAD WORKS JUST AFTER THE BERGVILLE TURN OFF OUTSIDE HARRISMITH. AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE COMING FROM JHB. Drive via Van Reenen pass , after the toll gate take turnoff Bergville.
